My random stuff page!

To encourage me to keep updating this website i'm going to have this page to update

Duck hr

Well first of all i'm going to add this online widget which Apple creates for you when you buy music off them via iTunes (It needs a flash player to work). Hey, it has a "Make your own" button.

You can tell who bought what by type of music (Her tunes are "Cool", mine are "Sad" *sob*)

Apple have now also added a favourites widget, wow, someone likes Elton John a lot, oops!

Connecting the iMac to a HD television.

Mini DVI to HDMI lead

HDMI lead

Audio lead

The apple lead needs to be connected into the mini DVI port on the back of the iMac then connect the DVI end of the DHMI lead to it and connect the HDMI end to the HDMI port on the TV. There is also a lead for the audio.

This is a great way of watching films from you Mac. Front row was designed for something like this, I can even control it with the Mac remote from my comfy chair.

Starmaker word cloud.

Everyone seem to have a word cloud on their website these days, so I thought I would make one.

This is based on the entire text of the book "Starmaker" by Olaf Stapledon published in 1937.

The book is considered one of the greatest works in science fiction, it is a history of the entire universe and beyond. You can begin to understand the scale of the book by the kinds of words generated by the word cloud.
